We took this picture of the tree outside of where we were staying- it was covered in butterflies! A beautiful gift from God.

Have you ever seen a "Labor Ball" ? They are really cool...! They totally help....

I loved having my sister and mom there with me

I don't know what I would have done without Arlen. Twice, I remember crying through contractions... not in pain but in gratitude to God for my wonderful husband.

Hearing baby's heartbeat in between contractions. This lady who is checking them is Ziggy - she was my doula. She's a Pastor's wife and very sweet.

Now the serious stuff begins, Dad and Stef look on anxiously from behind the glass.

Specialist Isaak came from Canada to assist with the epidural. He held my hand tightly as Doctor Carlos (the one sitting) actually oversaw the epidural.

But of course Doctor Isaak was the most handsome one there. (We're not sure what Arlen was doing in this picture.... but he's talking to Stef and Dad behind the glass...)

So thankful to have my mom there as well. Isn't she beautiful?

I couldn't believe it when she was actually there. After 9 months of waiting and hours of labor, our Nina arrived! Bright eyes alert and with a full head of hair.

This is my amazing doctor - Dr. Cristiano and his wife and assistant, Dr. Fernanda posing with Nina and I. They are incredible doctors!

Can you believe that the outfit that she is wearing used to be mine when I was a baby? Almost the only clothes that fit her are my baby clothes...
