I - Immersion

( Our second goal was to immerse them in as many ways to Brazilian culture, food, people, so that they could know the country and see a world that was completely different than their own. So we called this the Immersion aspect of our Light In Action '06 adventure)

These guys were exposed and immersed in everything from the slums and streets of Sao Paulo to staying with Brazilian families by themselves! And nothing is better than watching World Cup games in Brazil! They got to also hang out with teens from all over southern Brazil and even get to try a little something NEW!!
Not to mention our "day off"!!! We took a four hour train ride through the beautiful mountains between Curitiba and Paranagua. They are part of the Atlantic Rain Forrest! We had planned to just spend some time being tourist there and lay low. Well God had different plans. Mom met a store owner, found out we had music and drama presentation, knew the guy in charge of the huge fish festival going on in the city. So, we ended up on our MIRACLE STAGE! We will never forget that time and I pray that the people there will never forget the message.
