Oregon Trails!! (it's over used... i know!)

We landed in Portland and got to spend a couple wonderful days with Cynthia's Uncle and Aunt - Jay and Leslie Cross and there two little rugrats!!! Keegan and Shannon. (that's the beautiful little girl reading so sweetly to Nina)

Nina totally took to piano playing! Yep... I taught her well!

Had a blast hangin out there and even got to share in their sunday school class and Awana about what's happening down in Brazil. They are an awesome group of people, tender hearts and wanting to make a difference in their world.Then we took off for southern Oregon - Grants Pass to visit Cynth's grandparents, her aunt Lynn and the totally chill William James Pendleton along with the so giving Dian and crazy Halley!
Cynthia's grandpa has alzheimers, and we praise God for His hope of Heaven and new bodies. Her Grandma (below with Nina) and her aunt are amazing warriors as they take care of him day and night. So wonderful to spend time with them.

This is great! Halley totally helping Nina take a bath... reading the little Toot book! (check out that belly!!!)Then we had underware picture time!! Halley loved it... This is Dian taking a picture of the cute duo.

AND THEN... it was off to MT. ASHLAND!!! James hooked us up! He is an amazing driving if anyone ever needs a guide in Grants Pass! Took us snowboarding... and Cynth and Nina stayed warm in the lodge! (this pic is from the way up... that's Mt. McGlauphlin in the background)

Watch out Calvin Clein... the GQ boys are back... Yeah... studs! We decided to take a pic before the action... so you could atleast recognize who I am before I hit the trees.

James is PRO! That dude is sick at snowboarding! Totally carving up the slope... awesome companion... so patient... and great at making some knarley wipe outs! What's better... he's such a sweet bro, so encouraging to be around him, he's so excited about our Father!

Uhhh.... was my idea! Im the fly face on the right! Except James chickened out so we didn't go down that run!! really it was him... Ohh, if anyone doesn't know. You guys have seen those wooden fences on the edge of cliffs when you're on the mountain right? Yeah... well anyways, they actually hold people when you run into them!!! Seriously, they do!

Back in Portland after our time in Grants Pass, Cynthia's cousin Emily came over and her two cute litte kids!! (only her daughter is in this pic)

This is from inside the beautiful Timberline Lodge... looking out our window we saw straight up to the summit. This is the mountain those 3 guys just got killed on hiking in. (Uncle Jay... your totally posing for this one... and Nina too!!)

We braved the wind and snow and cold to watch the skiers.
